Our Toast to Bartenders

Our Toast to Bartenders

Even before crafting our inaugural tequila, our vision was clear: create to bring people together, extending beyond exceptional spirits and social gatherings. Giving back to the community is one of the most important aspects of why we do what we do at KOKORO Spirits. When it comes to the most delicious spirits and cocktails, no other person gathers our community better than our neighborhood bartenders.

Bartenders hold a special place as our favorite mixologists, playing the role of friendly hosts and, at times, even therapeutic listeners when our days don’t go as planned, and as the saying goes, we must protect them at all costs! So that’s what we intend to do.

The Helen David Relief Fund (HDRF) of the United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG) is an amazing nonprofit dedicated to assisting those in the bar industry who are undergoing treatment for and recovery from cancer. HDRF honors the beloved Helen David, a trailblazing bar owner of the Brass Rail and community leader with a legendary zest for life in Port Huron, Michigan. The townspeople considered her “to be the heart and soul of Port Huron.” Her story continues to inspire those with the disease and the spirits and hospitality industry.

Along with our commitments to Casa Hogar Alegria, California Academy of Sciences, we are honored to support bartenders in our communities by donating 1% of our profits to the USBG's Helen David Relief Fund.
